This broke Friday when the internet was nick-deep in the Rian Johnson news, of course. But in any case: The third book of Legend of Korra begins airing next Friday! The official trailer, above, dropped while we were at JadeCon.

Oooh. Ooh.
Season 2 didn’t really work for me, for a whole host of reasons. Needed way more Bei Fong; way less trite relationship drama.
But this trailer looks good! It looks like we’re going to see people bending things they couldn’t previously bend, which should be interesting–and oh hey look the Dai Li. They should be a much more compelling and interesting villain than last season’s big bad. Plus, more Bei Fong, which can only be a good thing.
Current status: cautiously optimistic.
