StarWars.com has Dark Horse’s solicitations for October, including Invasion #4 and #0 (which reprints the StarWars.com previews with six new pages,) Knights of the Old Republic #46, a Mando-fanboy pleasing Legacy #41 and Legacy Volume 7.
On that note, there’s a quickie interview with Invasion’s Tom Taylor on the TFN boards.
Let’s hear it for comics! This week, Wednesday will bring The Clone Wars #7 and Knights of the Old Republic #43, both the beginnings of new storylines.
The pickings have been slim this month, but Wednesday will bring us Knights of the Old Republic #42. Also be on the lookout for Star Wars Insider #110.
StarWars.com has the Dark Horse solicitations for September 2009, including Legacy #40, The Clone Wars #9, Knights of the Old Republic #45, Invasion #3 and two trade collections: Knights of the Old Republic volume 7 and The Clone Wars: Slaves of the Republic.
Fanboys is coming out on DVD tomorrow, and if you’re in Los Angeles you can head over to a release party then… Or one in San Diego tonight.
On the book front Tuesday is a big day for Traviss fans, as The Clone Wars: No Prisoners and the Order 66 paperback will both be in stores. And the comic fans can look forward to Knights of the Old Republic #41 on Wednesday.
Everything comics at StarWars.com today. Firstly, the Invasion preview is up and running. Secondly, the August 2009 comic solicitations, including Invasion #2 (of 5?!?) The Clone Wars #8, Dark Times #16, Knights of the Old Republic #44, and Legacy #39.
I just got back from the comic store and just realized that I forgot to pick up Star Wars Adventures. Curses! I guess that’s half the excuse I need to go back for Free Comic Book Day.
But my real point here is that Dark Horse has come through with three – count ’em – three previews: Legacy #36, Knights of the Old Republic #41, and The Clone Wars #6.
And for the Brits, here’s a peek at The Clone Wars UK Comic #5.7.
Lots of booty for comic fans Wednesday with Legacy #35, Star Wars Adventures: Han Solo and the Hollow Moon of Khorya, and the sixth Knights of the Old Republic collection, Vindication.
And don’t forget that this Saturday is Free Comic Book Day, and you’ll be able to pick up a Clone Wars story, among others. Also, Henry Gilroy, John Jackson Miller, Ramón Pérez, and Matt and Shawn Fillbach are among the Dark Horse folks doing signings.
Comic fans will have two issues waiting for them on Wednesday: Dark Times #13 and Knights of the Old Republic #40.
