Get a closer look at Hallmark’s 2013 Star Wars ornaments

Ignore the page numbers! This is page 70 of the online Dream Book

We got a look at them earlier, but now that the 2013 Keepsake Ornament Dream Book is live so you can zoom to your heart’s content. The Star Wars stuff lives on page 70.

And don’t forget about the NYCC/SDCC-exclusive rancor!

UPDATE: And here’s a limited edition Boushh that you only have to travel as far as your local Hallmark store to get! (Granted, the limited editions still sell out quickly.)

Up close with Hallmark’s 2012 Star Wars ornaments

This year’s Dreambook is up and running for us mere mortals, and with it your best look at this years selections – at least until Hallmark upgrades their website with a zoom feature or (more likely) they make their debut in stores this summer.

The Star Wars offerings: TIE Interceptor, Darth Maul, General Grievous, Han Solo on a tauntaun and two with a LEGO-theme, Stormtrooper and Vader.

And we wouldn’t dare forget the Darth Vader peekbuster, though we’ll try our darndest to keep him away from Santa Maul… I mean, seriously:

Surprise your gift sleuth with one of nine alert messages from Darth Vader on this motion-sensing ornament.

Whoever came up with that has no pets, clearly.

You can browse the whole catalog either as a PDF or via category. And hey, there’s a certain time-traveling 80’s supercar

Wear Star Wars, Share Star Wars on December 16th

Remember last year when the Star Wars community rallied around Katie in Chicago who was bullied for liking Star Wars? Everyone wore Star Wars and was encouraged to donate a Star Wars toy in her honor.

We’re going to do it again this year! Friday, December 16th is the day to wear Star Wars in some sort of capacity.

Fans are also encouraged to donate a Star Wars toy to a charity (labeled as “either boy OR girl”).  If you’d like to really keep it in the Star Wars family, the 501st is a big supporter of Toys for Tots.

Ready for Hallmark’s 2011 Star Wars ornaments?

It’s May, and as always, Hallmark’s 2011 Dreambook is out. The ornaments were on display at Celebration, but for those of us who weren’t there or somehow completely missed the Hallmark booth, this is the first look.

Come July 16, you can pick up Jedi Master Yoda, Slave I, LEGO Darth Vader and the ever-controversial Showdown at the Cantina, featuring audio from the DVD edition. A fifth ornament, Bossk, will be available during the Keepsake Ornament Premiere.

Other familiar franchises you can deck your trees with this year include Star Trek, Harry Potter, Wizard of Oz, Pirates of the Caribbean, several superheroes and… Twilight.

All these ornaments will be available only in Hallmark stores.
