Solo lowdown: Another behind-the-scenes feature

A new behind the scenes video has emerged at USA Today, showing some new aliens, droids, and more of Lando’s capes. It features Cinematographer Bradford Young, creature effects guru Neal Scanlan, costume designers David Crossman and Glyn Dillon, who reveal that Solo has the most costumes ever produced for a Star Wars film.

Entertainment Weekly talks to Joonas Suotamo about how the younger Chewbacca is different from the versions he’s played in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, doing more action scenes and Peter Mayhew’s advice.

→ The official site covers the costumers at the premiere and recaps Saturday’s press conference. And there’s another cast Q&A went down on Facebook.

→ Lawrence Kasdan tells io9 just how long he was working on Solo, and getting “dragged” into The Force Awakens.

→ Meanwhile, Ron Howard was asked about his first directing job for Lucasfilm, 1989’s Willow, and says that there is “a little talk” about a sequel. On that note, there’s an interesting rumor going around about Warwick Davis’ appearance in Solo.
