Jessa discovered that David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be making their first-ever joint convention appearance, along with director-writer-producer Chris Carter and writer-producer Frank Spotnitz to discuss the upcoming X-Files movie. This rare convergence will be taking place at WonderCon in San Francisco on Saturday, February 23.

Jessa also mentioned that she would be excited, except that there is no Skinner involved.

USA Today talks to Chris Carter, but the big news is that they have the first photo from the new movie.

Except for maybe ComingSoon, which reports that the long-rumored second X-Files movie is due to start shooting in Vancouver (woot!) on December 10.

It looks like things are really starting to come together for another X-Files film. You know it’s serious in Hollywood when the leads meet for lunch.

So this time, not only is there rumored to be a script in the works, but David Duchovny has actually read it. In related news, Mr. Duchovny is rumored to still be almost as hot as he was when his popular TV series went off the air.
