The Jedi Path. I have yet to see any copies in a brick-and-mortar store yet, but The Jedi Path has been dominating the news cycle. There are interviews with Daniel Wallace at TheForce.Net, and Geekdad, plus a feature on Amazon.com – which is probably your best bet for getting a copy right now.
More on Heir anniversary edition. First, Del Rey’s Suvudu blog confirms that Timothy Zahn is working on the annotations, while Sue Rostoni has confirmed that they are “looking into some variations of a special cover.”
Comics CBR has features/interviews on John Jackson Miller’s Knight Errant and Tom Taylor’s Blood Ties arc.
Columness. EUC’s latest columns are on zombies and Boba Fett. I am so clearly not the intended audience here. (She says with a resigned, sisterly affection.)
Two-for-one classic comic artists. The next Star Wars Insider will feature an exclusive Howard Chaykin cover and poster, while a Star Wars drawing by Jack Kirby surfaces on Twitter.

TeeEffYou, too. A summary has appeared at Random House for The Force Unleashed II novelization. Admiral Ackbar may appear in the game and Hayden Blackman wants a movie and/or TV show. I’m torn between eye-rolling and snickering, and ended up just pulling something from Robot Chicken. As you do.
Sample. With less than a month to go to release, there’s an audio excerpt of Sean William’s The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance.
Maybe they should just start a blog. The Insider is going digital.
Interviews. SWBooks.co.uk talks to comic writer Tom Taylor; The EU Review has John Jackson Miller.

We haven’t heard much on the comic front since the cancellation of Legacy, but DarkHorse.com has a few hints today:
- John Ostrander has “already begun work on the scripts for the next very top-secret thing.”
- Tom Taylor has proposed “a semi-regular series” based on Blood Ties, aka the Fett comic. However, it “will not be what you expect it to be!” So… Not Fett, then?
- A “well-known” writer has a proposal in for a series that could launch Dark Horse’s twenty-fifth anniversary year. We’ll hear more about it towards the end of July.
Could one of these items be the big news for Celebration. We can only hope.
Oh, and there’s also a peek at the Legacy #50 pencils.

Cannot predict now. Despite the reappearance of Elaine Cunningham’s Blood Oath in the Del Rey online catalog with a 2010 release date, we still don’t know if the book will make it to publication. Sue Rostoni said yesterday: “Can’t say yet. Still don’t have the entire manuscript.” (She also answers some questions about the Crosscurrent cover.)
- Invasion. EU Cantina has an interview with Tom Taylor and Colin Wilson.
- Holostar. Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff on the Force and the light/dark divide.
- Rebel Force. Randy Martinez talks about his covers for the Scholastic series.
- Star Wars Insider. #111 has a Clone Wars cover (how novel!) and a peek at The Essential Star Wars Atlas. It’s due by the end of the month.
- Authors. Matthew Stover is writing at least one God of War book for Del Rey, or at least that’s what several gaming sites are saying. There’s something in the Random House catalog at any rate.

So the new comic debuted last week, and both NJOE and IGN have reviews, while Dark Horse has an interview with creators Tom Taylor and Colin Wilson.
I was fairly underwhelmed with it, but that’s pretty much par for the course with Dark Horse… I’ll just have to wait and see how it pans out.

Dark Horse posted previews for Invasion #1 and Legacy #37 yesterday: We can expect another Invasion preview at StarWars.com tomorrow. All the better to hype folks up for the actual comic in July.
Invasion writer Tom Taylor also got some press as the ‘Where Science Meets Imagination’ exhibit and Fanboys hit Australia.
