Shamelessly indulging in melodramatic space trash since 1995

Movie News: JLA, Potter, X-Files

movies-biel.jpgJustice League of America script might have leaked. Emphasis on the might, but there are possible spoilers. In slightly more plausible news (it’s from Variety!) Jessica Biel may step into Wonder Woman’s boots. Well, we know she’s kicked ass before, but is she superhero material? I don’t foresee any complaints from the Karrdes.

Frank Spotnitz confirms that a second X-Files movie is more than a Duchovny pipe dream. “A script is indeed in development,” he posted on his blog.

Sam Raimi clarifies his comments on The Hobbit situation.

X-Files movie rumors, again

April 3rd, 2007 by Dunc · 1 Comment

Gillian Anderson says to Empire: “They’re starting to talk about doing a feature again. Every year or two they talk about it again, but it seems like it might be for real this time. Somehow it seems like somebody’s really serious about it. I know that Chris’ lawsuit with Fox is over, so maybe now it can be done.”

I want to believe (especially since she talks about it being more like a stand-alone episode where, in retrospect, the series was often strongest) but is it too little, too late? Or, with 80′s nostalgia is so hot right now, is it too soon to revisit the 90′s?
