Here are some of the things I’ve micro-blogged over @clubjade in the last week or so.

Clothing: Behold the Anatomy of the AT-AT t-shirt!

Guardians of peace and justice? Eight Scottish officers with the Strathclyde Police and two of their civilian co-workers have listed their religion as “Jedi.”

Crazy Twilight fan theater. Lady Sybilla’s industrial-sized victim complex trucks on! She’s now claiming that “Characters don’t belong to authors. Authors don’t create characters. They merely channel them.”

Lulz. io9′s Charlie Jane Anders pegs Obi-Wan Kenobi as one of the Great Unsung Slash Fiction Heroes. I know it’s pretty ironic that the most code-abiding Jedi in the saga is the fandom bicycle of Star Wars fanfic, but these things just tend to happen when Ewan MacGregor is involved.

Zazzle has some appropriately-crunchy looking Star Wars shirts for Earth Day, but the real treat here are the WPA-inspired travel posters, above.

This was actually all over the internets a few months ago, but Paula helpfully reminded me of it today. Sure to be a huge hit at this year’s Dragon*Con and other places where people who get the joke will congregate, the shirt is available for both men and women. Wear it hoping that the Twilighters actually have a sense of humor offline.

Fred Flare is a neat little online store (though they’ll be opening a brick-and-mortar location in Brooklyn next week) and you can pick up this Artoo backpack for a mere $65. (Though I’m sure some of our more creative crafters could simply make their own.) Also of interest (and a tad more socially-acceptable) is this Barbie ‘Nerds are hot’ tee. (via)

• T-shirt: Clearly we don’t know the power of the Force. Bet it’s awesome on floors, too.

• Lists: Entertainment Weekly has Revenge of the Sith’s ”Hold me, like you did by the lake on Naboo” line as one of their 15 nominees for worst movie dialogue ever.
• Politics: io9 says Sarah Palin is Star Wars and Hillary Clinton is Star Trek. Um. No comment.
• Cute: Chipmunk menaced by action figures!

This can’t be good for anyone’s pocketbook, but hey: They’re both cheaper and (slightly?) more socially acceptable than most of those fancy collectibles. Above, Fett and Stormtrooper hoodies: Gizmodo has a discount code.

• T-shirts: Cover your shame with Thinkgeek’s Echo Base, Do or Do Not, and DO NOT WANT. Yes you can haz (for $14.99 – $18.99 plus shipping.)

• Lists: So if you check over on the sidebar (and scroll a lot) you’ll note there’s a tag cloud. And in that tag cloud, lists is the biggest one. Why? Because the internet loves lists. (And also, I’m not anywhere near done tagging all the old entries, changing categories to tags, and all that fun stuff.) So here are a few more: Top ten Star Wars games, ten villains who deserved better, eight timeless classics critics are afraid of, five greatest space operas. And thus the ‘net gods are satisfied.

• T-shirts: The latest Steampunk Artoo… Now you see it, now you don’t.

• Fan sites: Wookieepedia is one of Wired’s eight best non-Wikipedia pedias.
• Craft: Fold yourself a Cubetrooper, Indiana Jones, Fetility Idol or any number of others.
• Lists: Topless Robot’s eight biggest reasons Indiana Jones is better than Han Solo, ten greatest spaceship chases ever, ten most blatant Star Wars toy rip-offs of the ’70s and Cracked’s eight classic movie robots that suck at their jobs. Hogwash!
