Commemorative coin honors Katie Johnson

R2-KT coinA special R2-KT collectible coin is now available, commemorating Katie Johnson, the 7-year-old daughter of 501st founder Albin Johnson, who died after a long batte with cancer in 2005. (R2-KT is Katie’s namesake.) All proceeds from the sale of the coin will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Katie Johnson: 1998-2005

Katie Johnson, daughter of 501st founder Albin Johnson, passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. She was 7 years old. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

The Johnson family is accepting donations for funeral costs and the Make-a-Wish foundation at ForKatie.org
