Will we see Rey, Finn and Poe on screen after Rise of Skywalker? (And other news)

What would it take to get John Boyega to return to Star Wars? Not streaming, he jokes to Variety: “You ain’t going to Disney Plus me!” But he says he would come back for a movie “as long as Daisy and Oscar are down for it.”

They are both less enthusiastic about the prospect: “[I’m] happy and feeling fulfilled that the task is complete,” Isaac says. “So I can’t imagine what it would be that would make me want to redo this thing or revisit it.” He’s also not very keen on taking Poe to Disney+.

Ridley says “I just don’t know if anything could top this one, honestly… it would have to be so extraordinary [to return], and I don’t know if that’s possible.”

Daisy Ridley on filming Rise of Skywalker, looking back on TLJ’s throne room fight

Daisy Ridley gets another cover story, this one in British GQ, where she talks about adjusting to fame, filming The Rise of Skywalker and more.

She was able to find the light side even in the weightier moments. “There was this thing,” she says, laughing as she starts to recall. “JJ would ask us to do the scene without speaking, just to feel the emotional… whatever. He was like, ‘You never know what could come up.’ We did that a couple of times. Then it became a joke, because we would just wet ourselves laughing. I said to JJ, ‘You have to do a bloopers reel,’ because I couldn’t keep my shit together at all.”

Entertainment Weekly’s Rise of Skywalker issue and other movie news

Entertainment Weekly has unleashed the cover story, and it’s actually three covers: One for each trilogy. And great news for those who love publicity shots! Honestly, this whole thing makes me yearn for the days of illustrations on magazine covers. But seriously, the main cover story, several new images, and of course, Rey’s parentage and Reylo.
