Kathleen Kennedy and Mark Hamill announce Lucasfilm’s latest Force for Change campaign. And stare at things. Intensely.
Although the first contest wrapped up a few days ago, Lucasfilm will be rewarding two additional fans who donate to Force for Change with a trip to The Force Awakens premiere.
Luke Skywalker is found! Or his earthly avatar Mark Hamill is, anyway. The actor suits up as a First Order stormtrooper and heads out to Hollywood Blvd. in the latest Force for Change video.
J.J. Abrams and the cast of The Force Awakens talk about the new Omaze initiative today. It launched with help from Harrison Ford last week, but a key cast member is missing from this one. However, it does end with a ‘to be continued…’
For more information on the charities selected by the cast, head to StarWars.com.
From Omaze, we have Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, a lot of crew members and even a few cast members thanking fans for contributing to A Force For Change.
Congratulations to the winner, D.C. Barns of Denver! Together, fans raised over $4.26 million for UNICEF, plus an additional $1 million contribution from Disney. Below the cut, a note from J.J. Abrams, and a robot hand…
Only a matter of hours left to donate.
He’s also very interested in the X-wing/mouse droid from the last Force for Change video, plus Rebels, but nothing we haven’t seen or thought before.
On that note, remember today is the last day to donate to A Force for Change!
