Preview pages from an upcoming Rogue One book have a name for the tropical planet teased in the recent Entertainment Weekly feature. Since this is unverified information and things may still change, head under the cut for the details.
Jedi Bibliothek spotted the pages (which have since been removed from the original source) from Rogue One Mini Build, which say the planet is Scarif. “Huge tracts of land” there were “excavated to build ships and supply the Death Star.” Orbiting Scarif is “an enormous docking station.” The “heavily defended” world is “enveloped in impenetrable deflector shields.”
Also featured is a new ship, the U-wing.
