I’m sensing a theme today! Tricia Narwani over at Suvudu counts down the Best Fashion in Science Fiction and Fantasy, including Leia in ANH. I’m clearly a bad Star Wars fan because I never noticed her white boots, but they are pretty bitching in that ultra-70′s-space-chic Alderaani way. (Major props to Narwani for not going for the slave outfit: It does have truly awful shoes.)

Also name-dropped: Battlestar Galactica, Harry Potter and the White Witch in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I won’t lie to you: Her chain-mail battle dress in that movie? Most kickass.
