I love Dark Knight, but this is so silly. These comparisons never take inflation into account, and even that doesn’t accurately measure the amount of tickets sold. By those standards, both Titanic and SW pale in comparison to Gone with the Wind.

I guarantee you, if it wasn’t for Heath Ledger’s death, this wouldn’t be happening. Or at least, not to this extent.
