Trailer park: Man of Steel, R.I.P.D. and Byzantium

Here’s the third – and perhaps the best – trailer for Zach Snyder’s Man of Steel. Of course, if there’s one thing we can count on, it’s that Snyder cuts a hell of a great trailer… But can the movie live up to it?

(And yes, of course someone has already remixed it with the John Williams score from the ’78 Superman.)

Under the cut, R.I.P.D., Byzantium and which superhero movie is releasing a teaser trailer next week.

R.I.P.D., based on the Dark Horse comic by Peter Lenkov.

Byzantium, an actual vampire movie.

And coming soon…

  1. RIPD might be a good comic book, but the film just looks goofy in a stupid, Men In Black rip-off kind of way.

  2. I’ve barely heard of it, honestly, and I’m not much interested. But I’m collecting trailers and it fit the criteria.

  3. The John Williams version is epic. The other one… Meh. ;-) But okay, I’m biased. I actually liked Superman Returns. :-)

  4. RIPD is supposed to be in the same vein of action/comedy as Ghostbusters and Men In Black. Back when i read it when it first was issued, I felt that it would work well as a movie along that line.
