StarWars.com rolled out the first set of reveals for the Celebration VI art prints on Friday. 10 down, 25 to go! My picks are the 3 above, by Stephen Hayford, Russell Walks and Ken Phipps, but Legacy fans will find something from Jan Duursema as well.
In other news, Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett) is coming, bringing the con guest list up to the maximum number of Fetts.

Not a contest.

Gotta say: I’m kind of crazy about the Mayan calender one.

It’s my favorite, hands-down. I hope there’s more letterpress-style ones coming.

Trooper Break is pretty good.

At the risk of making enemies here…I have to say that the Russell Walks piece is incredibly unimpressive. It looks like something a Jr. High kid would put together when first learning how to use PhotoShop. It looks like it probably took the artist about 10 minutes to make. He can do better than that.

I’m more of a traditionalist. I like the Tom Proctor one.

I like to Tom Hodges print. I want to see it on person first.

in person. I want to see it in person. I really shouldn’t be doing two things at once.

Depending on the person, it could be really nice! LOL

I’m not crazy about the Walks either, Matt. I really like what he’s trying to get across…the nature of Star Wars makes it a great choice for that kind of ’30s adventure-serial poster, but this effort seems to be lacking something. It’s just a little too flat.

I’m waiting eagerly for Katie Cook’s print. We picked up her first one at the last Celebration and would like to add to the collection.
