Damn, you beat me to it.
Jen and I were both open-mouthed; we did NOT see this coming. We found it especially humorous at her comment, “‘Oh, my god,’ Rowling concluded with a laugh, ‘the fan fiction.’”

The Neville/Hannah thing makes me happy. The Dumbledore thing is mainly earning an eye roll right now. Later (probably a month from now) when I’m not so tired/busy/cranky, I’ll write a long article on the whole thing for my Christians and Harry Potter site.
Since it wasn’t in the books, it makes no real difference about how I think of them, but it’s launching point for a larger issue, which is really what I want the site to be about.
