Bionic tops freshman ratings

Bionic Woman is the season’s highest-rated new series (so far,) handily beating ABC’s Private Practice last night.

So, who watched? What did you think?

  1. I watched! It’s… not your mother’s Bionic Woman. A lot darker and gorier than the version from my youth. Really, the only thing it has in common with the original is the name of the title character and the two legs, right arm, and right ear. She also got an eye, which belonged to the Six Million Dollar Man in the original.

I’m intrigued enough to keep watching, though.

  2. I expected the worst, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that I actually liked it. The story kept moving at a decent pace, the drama was was well done.

Okay, so maybe I’m bias since this show is a half breed of BSG cast and crew. But I already knew that, and I still didn’t expect to like it. But I did. It kept my attention and didn’t make me cringe :p

  3. I really liked it. Right off the bat, they were letting you know it was a BSG-associated production with the title font and the pacing and the editing. Branding is not a terribly bad thing.

The story was intriguing. And Katee was brilliantly psychotic, but in a different way from Starbuck.

Still a bit confused, though. Did her boyfriend die?
