No, it’s not a crossover, sadly. But you do get two-in-one: A Han and Chewbacca story shares a flip book with the Serenity folks, both tales penned by Zack Whedon (he co-wrote Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog with brothers Joss and Jed.) And Dark Horse will offer another flip book with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Guild. (via)

Aw man, you had me so happy there with the thought of a Star Wars story penned by a Whedon. But either way, sounds good!

I don’t think I could look forward to this more. Zack Whedon’s recent Serenity books and minis have been fantastic and always do great justice to the characters and setting. Having him work on something Star Wars seems a fantastic idea.
I’m a little bummed out that Dark Horse doesn’t have a new Mike Mignola offering coming next year, though. He at least writes a little Hellboy story, usually, and they’re almost always interesting and unique.
