Out this week: Darth Vader and the Lost Command

November 8th, 2011 by Dunc · 4 Comments

It’s a slim week for releases, with only a hardcover (hardcover?) collection of Haden Blackman’s Darth Vader and the Lost Command in comic shops on Wednesday.

Next week, that Revan book folks seem so inexplicably excited about. In other schedule news, we got an official title and product page for John Jackson Miller’s Lost Tribe of the Sith: The Collected Stories. It’s due on July 31.

Why ARE people looking forward to Revan, anyway? :P

Because KOTOR was, like, SUPER K3WL.

    Whatever.

I can’t say that I get it. I suppose it’s kind of an interesting time period, and I like Karpyshyn’s writing well enough, but I’ve never really gotten the appeal of the KotOR stuff. The second game had some really fantastic character work, an interesting plot, and some really neat exploration of the nature of the Force…but it was also a half-completed and buggy mess.

    Yeah, why hardcover? That’s surprising.
