A second cover for Kemp’s Riptide

The first cover for Riptide was not exactly met with a chorus of cheers, but I was still a bit surprised to see a new one pop up today.

The blurb is the same, but the release date has changed in the interim, and it will now be out on September 27.

Well, it’s a BETTER cover. Sort of generically over-dramatic, but at least it looks more like a Star Wars thing and less like a romance novel.

Yep, that first cover wasn’t suitable. :( I’m a bookseller and I could have convinced my customers that it was the first Star Wars romance novel – very happy to see the new cover.
