Did you hear about Captain America?

If not, I’m sorry, but you are living under a rock. The news was everywhere, including the front page of The New York Times website. The Beat has a nice press roundup.

Well, first, comics dead is sorta like tv sweeps dead. Second, this is hardly Marvel’s only crack-addled decision.

I suppose I should really put on my Marvel-girl mourning, though. “NOOOO! NOT CAPTAIN AMERICA! TAKE ME INSTEAD! No, on second thought, TAKE IRON MAN INSTEAD! NO ONE LIKES HIM AFTER THE CIVIL WAR ANYWAY!”

‘Cause this is the first I’ve heard of it. And I used to be up on all the Marvel news. ::sigh::

As long as they don’t touch Spidey or MJ, they can kill off whomever they like. But yeah, what Jen said about Comic Dead. It’s like soap operas. You can have a BODY, but if it’ll boost sales to bring him back, back he will come.
