Big Shiny Robot broke the news that a short scene was cut from Friday’s ‘Arc Troopers,’ and TFN has posted the scene. It’s… Not really worth all this trouble.
In less eyeroll-worthy news, the full episode guides for ‘Clone Cadets’ and ‘ARC Troopers’ are up.

I imagine more people have seen this clip than the actual episode by now.

It’s certainly one of the nastier moments The Clone Wars has produced, and I can see why Cartoon Network censored the clip, but it’s really not that big of deal.

It’s actually a kind of neat shot and it certainly isn’t dirty, but I can see parents reading some death fetishism in it. Though, arguably, watching any entertainment where anything dies can be viewed as death fetishism with the right world-view.
I’m more curious about what it says about Ventriss as a character. I haven’t gotten around to season two of TCW yet, but the kiss and the flourish is a lot more flamboyant than anything she was doing in her season one appearances. Did they rework or develop the character that much in season two? Giving her some noirish femme-fatale qualities and mannerisms is kind of a cool counterpoint to her generally ghoulish appearance and demeanor.

Well, a lot of young kids watch this show. So I can understand it from that viewpoint.
But it sure does show off Ventriss as a nasty piece of work. A bit of a bummer.

To answer your question Doyle, Ventress didn’t actually appear in a single episode of season 2.
