First Anne Rice got rid of her editor. Now she’s responding to bad reviews on Amazon. There is no doubt in my mind that the woman is crazy. If you can take the snark and mockery, check out the thread on fandom wank.

She’s just. . . well, I veer between being very sad and laughing hysterically.

It’s really quite intriguing watching someone totally self-destruct. Since I never got into her books, I can’t say as I feel all that sad about it from a “loss to the book world” sort of viewpoint. But it’s obvious from the post on her website, as well as the posts on Amazon, that she has some serious issues.

As one who never made it past the first VC book, I’m another who can’t quite see it as a great loss to the literary world. But how embarassing to self-destruct in public like that.
And woman, get thee to a typing/netiquette school and learn to use the enter key!
