Lil’ Boba Fett to appear in The Clone Wars

Wee Boba is not amused.USA Today was in a Star Wars mood, busting out a big article on the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back focusing on the consistently overhyped yet always fanboy-pleasing Boba Fett, who will be making his Clone Wars debut next month voiced by Daniel Logan. I remain perplexed, but what else is new?

  1. I don’t mind Boba Fett. He’s a cool character.

It’s just the crazy fan behavior around Boba Fett that gets tiring.

Thankfully, I no longer frequent fan boards so I can avoid all of that.

  2. Daaaaaw, his babyfaced kid!rage is so cute!

(Did you know that you can get stabbed for making baby-fett jokes at certain conventions? True story*. I’ve seen it. Brutal).

*For certain particularly false values of “true.”

  3. If you don’t like Fett, get the French version of Jedi Academy. He cries like a little girl when you fire at him.
Personally that’s my favorite Fett moment ever! Well, that and his death. Best hype killing moment in history! ;-)

  4. I’m starting to think that Boba got permanently stuck with that facial expression after AOTC.

  5. Dunc, using the word FACT like that is meant as an ironic joke, as opposed to actually saying this is a fact.

  6. I don’t know if anyone saw this video.

It’s interesting at least when talking about how Fett was introduced. (Also, if you haven’t heard MC Chris’s “Fett’s Vette” do yourself a favor and YouTube that.

I’ve always like Boba Fett, the problem is, he wasn’t a bad ass in anything. He just looked the part. We may have stories about him, but film wise he never got a chance and he was killed like a punk. I definitely don’t think I like the violence-hungry tween. I think they’re going to do this to explain how his dad got the Mandalorian armor. Notice the rage the governor had when Obi-Wan mentioned Jango.

  7. Fett’s Vette is the only redeeming thing that the character has inspired/produced for me.

Honestly, mostly I’m just sick of the fanboy worship he inspires – and how it seems to result in LFL shoehorning him in anyplace they can.
