Shamelessly indulging in melodramatic space trash since 1995

Video: And now it’s a trend…

With The Dukes of Hazard mashup, I’m really starting to think that I’m not okay with all this. (via)

Beneath the cut? The Lord of the Rings/A-Team. The 80′s are back, and they are PISSED.

Meh, it’s not hurting anything. At least they’re being creative. More than I can say for the constant Star Wars “jokes” in American comedy movies or TV shows.

These mashups are making me giggle a lot today – at least partly, I admit, because I watched The Dukes of Hazard, The A-Team, and Magnum, P.I. religiously in my misguided youth. Leia’s slave outfit is worse than Daisy’s barely there shorts, though. :P

Scoke: I, uh, wasn’t being entirely serious.

Formatting all wrong for the Star Wars/Hazzard mashup. Title should have been Star Wars, with the actors’ names. I didn’t even make it ten seconds into LOTR/A-Team.
Burn factor is very high on these and I think this meme has just about run our of steam.

I still think the MacGyver mashup is my favorite.

Heh – I have to say that it gets a little less funny the more they do, because the surprise of the first one is always the best. Still, not bad, and extra points for not omitting the “ya-hoo!” at the end, since that’s the main Duke-Solo connection (although I wanted to see Han actually doing it in the gunner seat).

How could anyone pass up the opportunity to use the “Hobo” font for Dukes? Shameful. ;)

This other Dukes of Star Wars mash up is far superior and actually uses the Hobo Font.

I first caught on to this with the SW/Airwolf and SW/Dallas mashups.
