So Celebration news might have been a bust, but there were a lot of nice hints about The Clone Wars in the Star Wars Spectacular. (Watch the teaser.) What rocks your boat for S2? Answer on the sidebar or beneath the cut. Continue reading
So Christie Golden’s first foray into the GFFA and the second book of the latest series has been out for nearly a week now… Time to put up the book poll.
But first, here are a few reviews from out and around the web: TheForce.Net staff, EU Cantina, Big Shiny Robot, Starlog, Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review, and NJOE. Or get down with the unwashed masses at the TFN Lit’s official review thread. I haven’t read any of them yet: I won’t until after I do my own review in a few days, so forgive me the simple listing.

Tuesday marks ten years of The Phantom Menace… Ten years! It seems like much longer… Or shorter, I suppose. I’m ‘celebrating’ by finally reading Darths & Droids, which is actually a lot more fascinating that I thought it would be. (Just got to the AOTC parts and it’s hilarious.) Those looking for a less time-consuming memory tweaker can enjoy Popcorn Monster’s Top 10 Memories of Anticipating The Phantom Menace.
Anyway, the question of the week, how did you see the movie? Answer beneath the cut. Continue reading

(Who says moms don’t like Star Trek?) But what did you think? Vote under the cut or on the sidebar. Continue reading

In any case, now is your chance to click and pick what you thought of the first book of the Fate of the Jedi series, Aaron Allston’s Outcast. Register your vote – if you haven’t already – under the cut. Continue reading
The other day we learned about a brand new character in the Fate of the Jedi series, by the virtue of her appearance on the cover of the series’ second book, Christie Golden’s Omen. Sue Rostoni revealed her name (Vestara) but naturally, fandom is running random with speculation. Given the book’s blurb, her red eyes, red lightsaber, knife, leather and tattoos, we can feel somewhat confidant in thinking she’s a Sith, but what other role can she possibly play? I’ve given you a few options beneath the cut. Continue reading
Last weekend at NYCC, Dark Horse announced Invasion, a new ongoing series set during the massive New Jedi Order series. Fandom, at least the TFN version, went wild with fanboy squee at the news. But for many of us, the NJO and the five years of books detailing it is something we’d rather put behind us. Do you have faith in Dark Horse’s ability to revitalize (or recapture) the era? Vote on the sidebar or beneath the cut. Continue reading
